Look at all the zombies out here.
Yet we have no reason to show them any fear.
For they’re too busy tweeting away and we no longer need to peer from over here.
I laugh, I weep I am completely bewildered.
How can it be that we’ve built a nation of screens over these years.
But with apes like us always changing, it seemed to fit well with our figure.
We tweet, we share, we friend, we troll.
Putting our lives up so high up among the weaves of our cyber web.
Just playing these games figuring we have no toll for what we do or any major role.
With a nation whose power is shown in their thumbs, letting the dullest hold the attention of many who follow their choices.
Speaking loud and sharing ideas that only fit in their head.
And the people follow these fools and copy their actions.
This is the kingdom where a gun holds no weight, to a boy with a Facebook account who’s full of rage.
He sends his victims far over the edge.
And to our dread he most likely will never see the bars of his cage.
We fall in love with a fantasy build upon a cybernetic base.
Why build one face to face when relationships are so much easier to allege.
Why disconnect when meetings with electronic friends are so much easier to take place.
If a nation of zombies is what we want then I applauded us on the work we’ve done.
For we’ve all been tangled in our cyber web with all our friends and nothing to fear. And there will never be a war against machines for they have already won.
